Brand Mascot

The objective of this project was to develop a mascot for a brand that currently lacked one. I selected Yahoo as the focus of my design initiative and aimed to create a character that encapsulated the brand’s essence. I designated the mascot as Mr. Yahoo, ensuring that his design harmonized seamlessly with the brand’s distinct colors and logo. My vision was for Mr. Yahoo to fulfill a function analogous to that of Microsoft’s Desk Assistant, Clippy, by providing users with search suggestions and offering assistance while they navigated Yahoo’s webpages. By simply clicking an icon on the bottom right of the Yahoo web page when in need of searching assistance, Mr.Yahoo would appear and ask what you needed help with, and then follow through.
